Veteran composer-singer Bappi Lahiri has bagged the Best Debut Director award and Best Original Music award for his short film World Peace Love and Harmony at the Kolkata Short International Film Festival

As reported 'Bappida turns director' (Hitlist, August 19), the 10-minute film with a voice over by Kabir Bedi is produced by his son Bappa and Govind Bansal. Says Bappida, `It is an educational film. I am elated that my first short has bagged awards.`
