Actress has apologised publicly on the micro-blogging site Twitter for accusing designer duo Ridhhi Sidhhi for calling her "mentally disturbed"

Kalki was upset with the way she had been taunted as a "mentally disturbed" woman, allegedly reeling under the effects of her marriage gone kaput. It was reported that designer duo Riddhi and Siddhi were "disgusted" with the actress' "antics" at a recently concluded fashion show in the city, where instead of walking the ramp, Kalki apparently took to giving media bytes.

Robbed of the chance of giving her side of the story, Kalki took to the social media yesterday to vent her anger at the designers.

She posted: `After a 4hour wait in lehenga, jewellery make up they have the gall to call me mentally disturbed! Riddhi siddhi, dp designers shame on you!Not seen a more disorganised show than #glamourstyleweek2013 where the organisers called me off the ramp when I'm the showstopper! No wonder actors turn into divas. That's the only language some people understand.By the way I am mentally disturbed but its certainly not because of my hubby;)`(sic)

However, Kalki later got to know the truth behind the misunderstanding. Soon after, she tweeted, "dear riddhi siddhi, i PUBLICLY apologise for for putting your name up, if you had nothing to do with these lies, peace be with you. DP designers, thank you for helping me get the facts out, for talking to be personally and for being so gracious about the whole matter." (sic)

She added in her next tweet, "unforutnately no body has come forward to PERSONALLY apologise to me for insulting me with lies."
