The 24-year-old actress said she has rejected few projects opposite some of Bollywood's biggest stars because the routine song-and-dance films does not excite her.
"I have been offered a lot of films with many big actors but I have unfortunately declined them. I felt I did not have much to do. I will never do a usual film with song and dance, the character has to be important," she told in an interview. "I don't want to do a film where I have a ten minute role.
Till now I have done films where my role is important. If I have a good script, then I will do it. I just don't want to be a heroine in the film," she said. Parineeti says she is glad she made the right decisions at the right time and chose to stay away from typical Bollywood potboliers.
"There were lots of masala, action films that I could have done and earned money and roamed around different locations. But I chose not to do them. Those films have released and... I am glad I did not do them," she said.
"I can't name the projects. But I don't regret not doing those projects," said the actress. Parineeti's last release was Habib Faisal's 'Ishaqzaade' in 2012 which was a superhit and also won several awards including a special mention for her at the National awards.
