How a night out for Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu apparently ended on a bitter note...

What may have seemed to be just another night out for Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu ended up to be an extremely embarrassing moment to be caught in.

On their way out from the popular nightclub Tryst in south Mumbai, real estate heir Imtiaz Khatri, who had been accompanying the duo, almost got into a verbal tussle with a young billionaire, who also happened to be at the same venue.

Onlookers say around midnight Khatri, who didn't immediately recognise the billionaire scion, passed some unsavoury comment about him.


Insiders say while Khatri apparently appeared to be in an inebriated condition, the son of the industrialist refrained from retaliating. It was in fact his bodyguard who had overheard Khatri mouth expletives but he continued on his way out to his car.

Says a source, `It was quick thinking on the part of the young billionaire. Their respective security personnel almost came to blows but the issue was quickly resolved.`

Ranbir and Anurag remained unavailable for comment.
