With her husband Shah Rukh Khan away in Dubai, Gauri Khan keeps the tradition of bringing Ganpati home alive

Though SRK has been away from home for a while now, life goes on as usual at the Khan household in Bandra.

With the star currently in Dubai to shoot his next film Happy New Year and elder son Aryan away in school in London, speculations were rife if the family would skip their annual Ganpati celebrations at home.

But insiders say Gauri went ahead with her meticulous planning of bringing the Lord home. The star wife celebrated the festive spirit with daughter Suhana and younger son AbRam along with Shah Rukh's sister, Shehnaz Lala.

A source says,`Shah Rukh is known to celebrate almost all Indian festivals with aplomb. But over the last few days, he had been busy with his shoot in the desert emirate. But looks like that didn't hold Gauri back from doing her own planning. The year has been good for the family.`
