Indian politics is not an easy cup of tea. But cheers to Gul Panag for raising the surname issue in Indian Politics on CNN-IBN Citizen Journalist show. Ya, why should one need a known hereditary surname in politics to move further. Surely emerging Indians won't take that dynastic-nonsense for much long. It has to stop.

She is all for the young generation to enter politics but the cost of elections pulls the interested candidates down. And she herself is not averse to entering politics but she rues that she does not have a famous surname.

But she sure has glamour to offset the disadvantage! Isn't it?
