She may be just one-film-old in Bollywood but looks like Kajal Aggarwal already knows what's best for her. Sources say the actress was scheduled to walk the ramp for designer JJ Valaya at a fashion event on Tuesday, but ditched the organisers at the last moment.
Friends of the actress say the reason behind Kajal's no-show was apparently because she did not feel Valaya's creations were up to the mark. A source from the event says, `It was very unprofessional of the actress to leave the organisers and the designer in a tight spot. Just an hour before the event, she informed them that she was not coming.`
However friends of the actress say Kajal had already expressed her disapproval of the clothes initially but had agreed to come anyhow. `However, at the last moment she backed out as the costumes didn't suit her tastes,` defends the actress' friend.
While Kajal's spokesperson denied the allegations, Valaya's representative says, `There was no problem with the outfit. The rumours are baseless. Yes, Kajal was supposed to be our muse but due to prior commitments, she wasn't there. JJ's good friend Deepti Gujral filled in for her.`
