Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, out on a two-week parole from Pune's Yerawada Central Jail on medical grounds, says he wants to devote his time to his family.

"I want to thank my fans and the media. I am out on parole for 14 days. In these 14 days I want to spend time with my family," Sanjay told reporters outside his Bandra residence here Tuesday.

Son of late actors Sunil and Nargis Dutt, Sanjay is married to Maanyata and has twins with her.

The 54-year-old actor is currently serving a 42-month sentence for his role in the March 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.

Sanjay had surrendered before a Special TADA Court in Mumbai in May and he was shifted to Pune to serve the remainder of his jail term.
