The successful trio of filmmaker Subhash Ghai and the director duo Abbas-Mastan is back with the launch of a thriller - "36, China Town" -after the super success of "Aitraaz".

Subhash Ghai has roped in Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapur, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Isha Koppikar and Upen Patel for the movie. While Shahid makes his debut in the Mukta Arts camp, super model Patel begins his Bollywood innings with "36, China Town".

The muhurat and song recording were held here at Ghai's Mukta Arts' studio and were attended by the entire cast and crew of the film.

The film's music is composed by Himesh Reshamiyya and lyrics are penned by Sameer. "36, China Town" is to be completed by November.

Its hat-trick time for Abbas-Mastan - the director duo will direct their third successive film for Mukta Arts in mid 2006!
