Bhatt, who had roped in Mallika for his film "Murder", will be seen grilling the suitors on their compatibility quotient with the actress, who is trying to find her soulmate through the show.
"Mallika holds high regard for Mahesh Bhatt and that is the reason why we had invited Mahesh Bhatt on the show. He grilled the contestants who had come to win Mallika, who he considers as his daughter," a source said in a statement.
"He was mighty impressed with the contestants and even offered four of the suitors a role in his upcoming project. It was quite an experience shooting with Mahesh Bhatt since Rohit Roy, who now hosts the show, was also launched by him," the source added.
Based on the international format of "The Bachelor", the show will see 30 contestants trying to woo the actress.
