Shruti Hassan is a huge fan of Kishore Kumar. She tells CS, "I think he was the best singer-cum-performer in India. We will never have another Kishore Kumar. My favourite film is Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi."

She further says that music is an integral part of her life. `I find singing a very spiritual experience. The songs I listen to depend on my mood.
