R Madhavan is currently busy getting fit. In a candid chat with CS, the 43 year old actor talks about doing action films, bulking up and his passion for bikes.

Filmi chat
I am preparing for a film which will go on floors in December and will be shot in both Hindi and Tamil. I will be playing a retired boxer in the film. To prepare for the role, I hit the gym every morning. Besides bulking up, I have to follow a strict diet too. I am also training in the sport for the past four months in Los Angeles.

Content driven projects
I like to do one film a year. I only consider projects which have a good storyline. Since I haven't done a hardcore action film before, I would love to explore this genre. I have just finished shooting for my Hollywood film which is in the 3D genre.


Keen interests
I play golf and I am a street biker. My priced possessions are the Yamaha vmax and Ducati. Whenever I get the time, I bring out my bike and go for a spin on the Mumbai-Pune expressway.

Home bird
I am a homely guy; my family means everything to me. So whenever I get some leisure time, I like to spend time at home with my wife Sarita and our son Vedaant. Since I am travelling most of the time for my shoots, staying at home is a rarity.
