IFFI (International Film Festival of India) will held in Goa Nov 20-30.
Tigmanshu Dhulia's "Paan Singh Tomar", which was named the best feature film at the 60th National Film Awards ceremony, made it to the list by the virtue of a direct entry, while the remaining movies were chosen from 210 entries by a nine-member jury, headed by filmmaker-editor B. Lenin, read a statement.
In the non-feature films category, Raja Shabir Khan's Kashmiri film "Shepherds Of Paradise" received a direct entry as it won the best non-feature film award at the National Film Awards, and the rest of the films were picked by a five-member jury chaired by director Raja Sen. The jury picked 15 films of the 130 eligible entries.
The feature and non-feature film categories have a heady mix of Hindi and regional films.
In the feature films category, six are in Malayalam, five Bengali, five Hindi, three Marathi and two English movies. One film each has been selected in Konkani, Kannada, Mising, Oriya and Tam /> In the non-feature films category, five are in Hindi, three in Malayalam, three in English, two in Marathi, two in Kashmiri and one in Kurukh.
