While speculations were running rife about their exact relationship status, Salman khan announced in an interview that he had broken up with Katrina Kaif, though they remained friends.

The press naturally flew a volley of questions on Katrina at a press conference. Completely unnerved by comments, she broke down and blurted `If Salman says we've split, it must be true`. After that, she walked out of the press conference.
