"I want to thank the audience from the bottom of my heart and from the entire team of 'Krrish 3'," the 39-year-old said here Friday at the Gaiety cinema where he had come to watch the film with the audience.
"I am so overwhelmed that I can't find words to thank them. I am happy and it is going to be a happy Diwali," he added.
Directed by Rakesh Roshan, "Krrish 3" hit theatres this Friday and stars Hrithik as the superhero in the third installment in the franchise that began with "Koi... Mil Gaya" in 2003.
The film features Vivek Oberoi as the villain, Kaal. Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut also play pivotal roles in the film.
