It's learnt from unconfirmed sources that there has been a rift between Vashu Bhagnani and his ace protégée Diya Mirza on the eve of the release of Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein. Apparently Vashu Bhagnani has a female acquaintance by the name of Mahi, who split the beans to people about the problems brewing between Diya and Vashu.

It may be recalled that Diya had signed up for three movies with Vashu Bhagnani at the start of her career, and just recently wrapped up shooting for Deewaanapan opposite Arjun Rampal. It is also learnt that Diya is having problems with Salman Khan who is a bit cheesed off coz she couldn't give him dates for a song in the film she's doing opposite him. It is learnt that he called her up and whined about how Diya was only shooting with Arjun and whether she thought if Arjun was a bigger star than Diya.
