Deepika Padukone accompanied Ranveer Singh for the promotions of their upcoming film Ram-Leela on Kapil Sharma's comedy show on Tuesday. She was, however, conspicuous by her absence when Ranveer visited the Bigg Boss house for the promotions on Saturday.
Onlookers found it strange that the actress preferred to skip one show while be part of another show on the same channel. Considering that Bigg Boss host Salman Khan has been top of her priority list to work with, her no-show raised eyebrows.
Says a source, `Deepika has been expressing her desire to work with Salman Khan for a long time now. She was supposed to be part of the Sallu-starrer Kick. But according to the buzz, Deepika's closeness to Shah Rukh Khan had something with the decision of not including her in a Salman-starrer.`
Sources close to the actress however state, `Deepika was not supposed to go for Bigg Boss. She was busy with her other commitments. Her promotion schedule does not include being part of Salman's show.`
