Though he has a film (Ram-Leela) up for release, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been hardhit on his production house front. There have been several en masse resignations in his office because of the apparent highhandedness of his company's CEO, Sandeep Singh.
Referred to as Bhansali's blue-eyed boy, the youngster was introduced to the filmmaker by music composer Ismail Darbar. They hit it off well and Bhansali initially made him his secretary and later created the CEO position for him in his company.
Says a source, `Staffers have had issues with Sandeep Singh ever since he joined the company. He was overnight made their boss. The older staff felt left out as Bhansali openly favoured his blue-eyed boy and gave him total control of his office affairs. They had no say in any matters.`
Adds the source, `Bhansali's TV show Saraswatichandra hit a roadblock due to the differences among his team due to which the channel had to hand the show over to another producer.`
It is learnt that at least five people from his office quit recently after they were fed up of Singh. The source informs, `They were keen to call it a day but remained but could take it no more.`
Bhansali remained unavailable for comment.
