Bollywood media gossip is a routine thing but when the stories are cross-checked they are found to be untrue. This is what happened with Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande. A tabloid published a story that Sushant's fiance Ankita Lokhande slapped the former over a steamy scene with a co-star at a studio in public view. But now it comes to light that the story was completely untrue.

Says Sushant in an interview that after reading the tabloid, both of us, laughed over it. The couple is going steady and Sushant is ready for marriage but Ankita is taking time, the actor revealed.

The actor says that personal lives of the stars do not affect their fan following anymore. People have become mature. As far as time is concerned, he is so busy with work that he hardly get time for himself, but ever he has time you can find him with Ankita.

On Hrithik Roshan in Paani, Sushant comments that former was the biggest superstar and he has seen his fan following. He admits that he cannot replace Hrithik in any case. The film goes on floor next year and it feels great to be working with Shekhar Kapur who last worked with Heath Ledgerin 'Four Feathers'.

Sushant had to make a choice between Fitoor and Panni because he was supposed to shoot for 'Fitoor' this year and 'Paani' was scheduled for next year, but when the former was pushed ahead, dates clashed and he had no alternative but to opt out. He was excited about working with Gattu (Abhishek Kapoor) again and had kept six months free post 'Peekay' for the film. He is disappointed that he couldn't sort out the dates.

The actor rues that he could not act with Katrina in the UTV production because of date clash. Otherwise who not like to work with an actress like Katrina. Hope to get another chance.


Sushant reveals that after Kai.. Po Che! and Shuddh Desi Romance his family and Ankita have not changed. The only change is that people have stopped saying that TV actors can't act. He would not want to be just a star. He has turned down about two dozen scripts because he only wants do films where a filmmaker has something to say.
