After Amitabh Bachchan who recently wrapped up the shoot of his first fiction show produced by Anurag Kashyap, his wife Jaya Bachchan follows suit.

A source says, `Jaya has given her nod to be part of a daily show. It will go on the floors as soon as rest of the cast is locked. Her role is that of a woman whose husband vanishes into thin air one day. She tries to find him but in vain, so she moves on only to find him back in her life.`

In the past, Jaya has produced fiction shows like Dekh Bhai Dekh. Big B's upcoming television show will air on the same channel as her show.


`We were looking at a powerful actor to play this role and were in discussion with the channel and entire team. Jayaji's name came to our mind and we decided to approach her. To our surprise, she agreed to hear the script and liked it. If things fall into place we will make an announcement once the shoot begins.`

While the production house remained unavailable for comment, Sneha Rajani, senior executive vice-president and business head of the channel says, `I have no idea about it.`
