Kailash's "Sachin Anthem" is a tribute to Tendulkar who has decided to retire from cricket after playing his 200th Test against the West Indies starting Thursday at the Wankhede Stadium here.
Praising the 40-year-old's retirement decision, Kailash said: "It's wonderful that Sachin will retire. Now apart from cricket, he might be able to do things that he wants to do."
"May be he would sing and if that happens, I would like him to collaborate with me. It will be fun if that happens," added the singer, known for singing songs like "Teri deewani", "Saiyyan" and "Ya rabba".
The video of the "Sachin Anthem" will be available on Kailash's YouTube channel from Nov 14.
Kailash also praised Sachin's simplicity and spirit.
"There are people in the world who may not be a fan of cricket, but they are Sachin's huge fans. There are very few people whom you can call 'one and only' and Sachin is that person. He is not only a wonderful sportsperson but also a wonderful human being," the singer said.
"Sachin led his life with patience and simplicity and has set an example for everyone. He has been a source of inspiration for the whole world and it's a great thing to celebrate," he added.
