"It's a big honour for me", said noted director Madhur Bhandarkar whose critically acclaimed film Page 3 was adjudged the best film in the National Film Awards announced
on Wednesday.
Bhandarkar, who had earlier won the award for his first directorial venture Chandni Bar, said he was happy that the "National Award coincided with
the silver jubilee week of the film (that was last week) and is a very big honour for me and those associated with the film".
While Chandni Bar had won four national
awards, Page 3 has bagged three national awards.
Bhandarkar said he was working on his next project titled Corporate.
