While shooting for his upcoming film, 'Jai Ho', on Wednesday at Film City, the star had to complete a few scenes outside the specially-erected sets.

While shooting, Sallu noticed a bunch of children playing cricket nearby. He too joined in and played cricket for some time with them. The kids did not have proper cricket bats and gear. They were using wooden sticks for bats.

Says a source, `The kids were delighted to have Sallu play with them, but their excitement doubled when he told his production crew members to gift every child a cricket kit.`

Adds the source, `The production house got into action and within hours every child was gifted a cricket kit.`
