Looks like Salman Khan is still smarting about Kushal Tandon's claim about him apologising to him after how he was shunted out of Bigg Boss 7. Salman had expressed his displeasure at this not so long back.
Probably that's one of the reasons why Khan is refusing to react to the channel and the production house's request to get Kushal back in the show. Kushal apparently is getting more and more desperate as he has been waiting eagerly for a while now.
A source says, `The channel and the production team is constantly in touch with Salman to convince him to get Kushal back. So far their efforts have been in vain. The unit will discuss it again with Salman and see if he has changed his mind when he comes back to shoot for the show.`
Adds the source, `Kushal had a meeting with the channel recently to discuss his re-entry in the show. He is keen to get back and ready to go in without any pre-conditions. Earlier, he had felt that he was being targetted and Salman was being soft on the other contestants, but now he's even ready to take back his words.`
The buzz is that the makers are all set to play up his budding romance with another contestant, Gauhaur Khan, in the house. They were ready to send him when his ex-girlfriend model Candy Brar was in the house, but she made a quick exit. But looks like Salman is in no hurry to forgive and forget.
Kushal remained unavailable for comment.

Salman Khan who is currently in Romania shooting for Jai Ho as reported 'The ex files' (Hitlist, November 19) was asked about his former flame Romanian actress and TV presenter Iulia Vantur by the local media. The star apparently said that she was a good friend and he might meet her. Sallu left for Romania immediately after completing the shoot of Bigg Boss 7 on Saturday. A source says, `The shoot for the weekend episodes was wrapped up by 7.30 pm as Salman was leaving for Romania. Normally the star shoots in a relaxed atmosphere and takes time but that day he did not take a break and finished the shoot earlier.`
