Just before Ranveer Singh left for Oman for the shoot of his next -- Ali Abbas Zafar's Gunday -- the actor, along with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ladylove Deepika Padukone, choreographer-turned-producer Shabina Khan and a bunch of unit folk of Ram-Leela, went out for dinner at a five-star hotel in South Mumbai.
They were in a mood to make merry post the film's success. Food and drinks flowed and the bill apparently was a staggering Rs 2 lakh which was footed by Ranveer.
A source says, `Bhansali was keen to take Deepika and Ranveer out for dinner. It was late in the night before Ranveer flew out of India for a shoot. They went to a hotel in south Mumbai and had a five-course meal including drinks.`
Adds the source, `Ranveer was in his elements throughout the evening and entertained everyone. As Deepika and he are known to be foodies they were in a mood to gorge. Their dinner went on for a long time. When the bill arrived, Ranveer insisted he pay it as Ram-Leela was special for him. So Bhansali allowed him to pay the Rs 2 lakh bill.`
Ranveer's and Bhansali's spokesperson remained unavailable for comment.
