Farhan Akhtar has decided to take a week off next month to spend some time with his family
Farhan Akhtar has had a busy year with his acting assignments, concerts as well as on his film production front. Now, before the promotions for his upcoming film Shaadi Ke Side Effects begins, he has decided to take some time off for himself and family.

A source says, `Farhan has been travelling for his concerts in and out of the country. He was also writing dialogues for his sister Zoya's next and looking after production of his upcoming film under his banner. So it were tiring months for him. In mid-December, he will take a week off to spend quality time with his family.`

However, instead of going on a holiday abroad, he will be in the country and is likely to be at home catching up with his family members.

`He has also declared that he wants to watch some films which he has missed out on this year, read books and has asked everyone from work not to disturb him. It will be a rejuvenating time for him and he wishes to make full use of it.`
