The siren made headlines when she sang for the Gujarat chief minister, Narendra Modi on his 64th birthday. While we are unsure of whether Ms Sherawat was trying to do a Marilyn Monroe (the Hollywood diva had crooned Happy Birthday for the dashing JFK, you see), this was one line that did not get a retort from NaMo or his followers. Modi ignored Mallika's good wishes much like a mighty emperor shunning the charms of an ageingshehzadi.


Richa Chaddha
When a journalist asked Richa whether an over-obsessive fan had ever harassed her, she went on to say that fans idolised actors for what they were on the big screen. And going by the characters she had played so far (Nagma Khatoon in Gangs of Wasseypur and Bholi Punjaban in Fukrey) no one had perceived her as someone to be obsessed about. Though silly, the statement did make sense. After all, as no guy would want to be attacked by a sickle wielding abusive vixen.


Katrina Kaif
Well Kat, all of us know that you know everything in your heart of hearts or in our hearts for that matter. As far as `I sit on a cloud` goes we are unsure about the use of the metaphor and the context. And sitting on a cloud is safer than sitting on the beach, what say.

After making acting look like a really tough job in films like Aisha, Mausam and Players, the fashionista made this statement before the release of Raanjhanaa. It is good that the film worked or else her statement would have ranked high in her list of goof ups that include lines like, `I am obsessed with Rekha`, `I am single` and `All heroines follow my fashion sense`.
