Sahara One Motion Pictures' much-awaited film "Yahaan" has wowed several Indian cricketers who were privy to a special screening of the film in Bangalore.

The show was arranged at a hotel where the team was staying. Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, L. Balaji, Ajit Agarkar, Dinesh Kartik, Amit Bhandari and Parthiv Patel were among those who viewed it.

All of them got so engrossed in the Jimmy Shergill-Minissha Lamba starrer that they insisted on skipping the interval.

Yuvraj said: 'Yahaan' is a great movie - the direction, screenplay and photography are brilliant! The movie shows the reality of life - how normal people get stuck in India-Pakistan problems...

"People sitting over here don't realise what's happening there. But when you see the movie you realise it's the reality of life!"

Ashish Nehra said: "It's a very good film - we enjoyed it. More so because it's come in a rare break from our training too!"

Zaheer agreed. "It was a good change for us. After a hectic schedule a good break."

The cricketers particularly appreciated the story, the picturesque Kashmir valley, the performances of Jimmy and Minissha and the songs of "Yahaan".

Sandeep Bhargava, COO, Sahara One Motion Pictures, said: "I am glad the cricketers enjoyed the film.'Yahaan' is a very real, very honest and engrossing film with a great storyline and has been extremely well made.

"'Yahaan' reflects our commitment to great content and we shall continue to bring more such engrossing movies for millions of movie lovers across India in the coming months. We have an exceptional line-up of films to be released by Diwali."

"Yahaan" is the story of the love of a young Indian army officer (Jimmy) for a beautiful and strong-minded Kashmiri girl (Minissha), set in turbulent Jammu and Kashmir. It also stars Yashpal Sharma and Mukesh Tiwari.

A modern love-story set and shot in some pristine internal areas of Kashmir, the film is directed by ad-film-maker-turned-feature-film-director Shoojit Sircar, with exquisite lyrics by Gulzar, set to music by the latest superstar to hit the music circuit in Bollywood, Shantonu Moitra. European cinematographer Jakob Ihre from Sweden has shot the film.

"Yahaan" will be released July 29, and had its India premiere at the 7th Osian's Cinefan Film Festival Thursday in New Delhi.
