As the news of Hrithik Roshan and wife Sussane parting ways and ending their 17-year-old relationship comes to light, Arjun Rampal issues a statement denying any involvement in the decision

The statement read, "It is very sad when friends close to you take a decision to separate. These are the hardest times for them and we must be sensitive towards this decision, rather than creating speculation and rumours. I read in the news, about the same time as you all, about my involvement in this marriage. It saddens me deeply that rumours become inevitable during celebrities going through such times. Mehr and I wish them only peace and love through these times, and support them as friends should, and we wish them and their families well, always."


On Friday, Hrithik Roshan issued a statement that read,"Sussanne has decided to separate from me and end our 17-year-old relationship. This is a very trying time for the entire family and I request the media and the people to grant us our privacy at this time. I do not wish this news to disempower my fans and the people about the institution of marriage in any way. I am a firm believer in this institution and respect and honour it at the highest level. Once again, I thank my fans for all the concern and prayers for my health, my treatment is going well and I should be able to resume my life in every way very soon. Thank you."
