'Dhoom 3' actor makes an exception to his rule and attends film festival in Chennai

Aamir Khan was recently in Chennai to inaugurate a film festival. A source says, `Aamir usually avoids being part of film festivals and award functions.

However he made an exception as the organisers were extremely persuasive. So he finally agreed and asked his Dhoom:3 team to let him take a day off from the film's promotions.`


The actor was excited to attend the festival and meet the South folk. `Aamir has worked with director A R Murugadoss in Ghajini and has a basic idea of their working style. It was very great experience for him and he happened to meet people like Kamal Haasan, K Balachander.`

Aamir's spokesperson confirms, `Aamir visited Chennai to inaugurate the film festival. Even though his visit for brief he had a good time interacting with members from the South industry.`
