At last after a period of 5 years of hard work Priyanka Chopra is now on a holiday. She, along with her mother Madhu and brother Siddharth left on Monday night for an undisclosed location. According to a source close to the family, the trio are settled in a six-bedroom villa in a private island.

Adds the source, "This is the first time in five years that Priyanka has taken a break. This has been a particularly hectic year with her diary chock-a-block with film shoots, brand assignments and album related work. She has made a dozen of trips to Los Angeles.

After her father, Dr Ashok Chopra, passed away in June this year she has been wanting to spend some quiet time with the family. So she cleared her calendar, informed her filmmakers, her team in Mumbai and LA and took this much-needed 12-day break."

Her spokesperson confirmed the news adding that Priyanka has a commitment to perform at a New Year's eve function. "She will fly directly to Chennai on December 31 while her mother and brother will go directly to her bungalow in Goa. Priyanka will join them there on January 1, celebrate the New Year there, and fly back to Mumbai and to her work on January --refreshed and rejuvenated."
