'Dhoom 3' actor Abhishek Bachchan is keen on producing a biopic based on the life of his grandfather

Abhishek Bachchan who is right now busy promoting 'Dhoom 3'. revealed to Hitlist that he really enjoys acting in biopics and it is thrilling to be part of one. Abhishek also mentioned that he really liked Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and appreciated Farhan Akhtar for putting in so much effort. Taking a step further, he might be planning to produce a film on his grandfather, celebrated poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

The actor, who played the lead role in Guru, a biopic loosely based on the life of Dhirubhai Ambani, said, `I like them and I am working on two at the moment. I enjoy the creative and acting process which goes in biopics.

Normally, we get to play characters who live in a limited timeframe so an audience doesn't to see the growth of the character. For example, in case of Gurukant Desai (referring to the 2007 Mani Ratnam film, Guru) it was a huge kick how things evolved and it is all very exciting how you walk, your speech how you slow down with the age and everything. I am really looking forward to doing another biopic.`

Abhishek is planning to produce two biopics and is working out on details for the same. However, he is not willing to reveal much about them and gingerly said. `I am working on two biopics now and if you ask me at a gunpoint then the character I would really ove to play, would be my grandfather. It is going to be a Herculean task although a lot of research material would be available for me at home but a lot of attention would have to be paid to it. I know my audience expect a lot from me and I believe they should.`
