Apparently, Ranbir charged a hefty amount of Rs 25 crore for his new endorsement

Ranbir Kapoor has allegedly charged Rs 25 crore for an endorsement deal for a chips brand which requires four days of shoot. A source says, `The brand was in talks with a couple of known actors to be ambassadors. The deal was almost finalised with one actor, but things did not work out at the last minute forcing them to look for another star. They then decided to approach Ranbir who demanded a hefty fee.`

Adds the source, `Ranbir is slated to shoot for the commercial soon. Apart from the shoot, the star will also make appearances for them as per their requirements.`

Incidentally, the brand has Saif Ali Khan as its ambassador. The source points out, `Ranbir is not replacing Saif. They have always had two celebrities as their ambassadors.`

Ranbir remained unavailable for comment.
