Since the beginning of the seventh season of Bigg Boss 7, Tanuja expressed her displeasure at how she's not very happy with daughter Tanishaa's decision to participate in the show. And her resistance was evident even on the finale of the controversial reality show.
However, Tanishaa still went ahead and lasted till the final week though she ended up losing the title to Gauahar Khan. A source from the sets in Lonavala says, `Throughout the season, Tanishaa barely got any gifts or visitors from family members. In fact, once the production house approached them to send her something on Diwali, they did not get any response from Tanisha's family.`
So much so, Tanuja seemed not in favour of travelling all the way to Lonavla but she somehow ended up at the venue to receive her daughter. But not without making her discomfort obvious.
An onlooker says, `Tanujaji arrived in the evening but chose to stay away from most of the media. She spent most of her time in her car and only stepped on the set for the last 10-15 minutes of shoot.`
When asked Tanishaa about if her family was unhappy with her decision, she denied it and said, `My family was not against me. They cannot come to certain places and they come as and when required.`
The actress played down her relationship status with fellow contestant Armaan Kohli and said, `I have not done anything which would have embarrassed my family. Armaan is just a friend and everything is out in open. It was on camera so I don't need to clarify anything.`
