Nawazuddin Siddiqui has shot the film in his hometown in UP

Nawazuddin Siddiqui turns producer with the film Miyan Kal Aana which has been directed by his brother Shamasuddin Siddiqui. The 35-minute film has been shot at their native place Budhana in Uttar Pradesh.

The film highlights the condition women face when they cannot make any decisions. It features newcomer Manisha Marzara along with theatre actor Jaihind Kumar and several of his village folk.

Says Nawaz, `It was my concept and we shot it in my native place. It will go in the festival circuit.`

Manisha who also features in the upcoming film Babuji Ek Ticket Bambai Ka says, `It was an experience shooting for it in his village. Staying with his family was amazing, specially his mother's warmth.` Meanwhile Shamasuddin is also slated to direct Ganna, Gehu Aur Gun which will star Nawaz.
