Tiger is certainly one of the most promising newcomers of 2014. The debutante has been working hard for his acting debut, putting in his best to deliver a remarkable performance. Having honed his skills in martial arts and dance from a really young age, the young actor will be seen giving life to an off the edge character and some adrenaline-filled action scenes in the movie. Director Sabbir Khan made sure that the young actor underwent rigorous workshops and extensive training before the film went on floors, and that Tiger started shooting only when he was absolutely ready to.
Looking forward to the release of Heropanti, Tiger Shroff commented, `It's been a really long journey, firstly of understanding the movies and the craft and then immersing myself totally into the character and becoming it. Following that began the actual shooting ... So yes I am really eager to see how the entire team's hard work comes across, especially since it was a cast and crew that was entirely new.`
Director Sabbir Khan said, `It's been an exciting journey. Apart from Tiger and Kriti being newcomers, the rest of the cast and crew are relatively freshers. In fact, the average age of the unit was about 23/24 yrs. The shoot shifted from Punjab to Mumbai and from Delhi to Kashmir. We've shot for endless hours but the energy and spunk of the unit was infectious and I think we've given it our all.`
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala said, `It's the first time that my banner is launching newcomers, but I am happy it's come at the right time and with the right script. Tiger is extremely talented and focussed, an amazing combination for a young newcomer. We firmly believe in this star of tomorrow."
Directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film also marks the debut of Kriti Sanon with Tiger Shroff. 'Heropanti' is slated to release on May 16, 2014.
