Kangna Ranaut left last night for New York to fulfill her academic ambitions. The actress may have dropped out from college to pursue acting, but now she is keen on learning the ropes of writing for films. The star has apparently enrolled herself at the New York Film School for a month's course.
The actress told Hitlist, `I had been planning this for long. I am keen to explore new avenues, especially script and dialogue writing for films.`
Interestingly, Kangna has penned some of the dialogues in her upcoming film, Queen. As she essays a small-town girl in Vikas Bahl's film, the actress could identify herself with the character and felt the lines came naturally to her. She is also being credited as dialogue writer in the film.
Kangna will be back from the US for the promotions of Queen which is slated for a February-end release. And then attempt to pen scripts and approach production houses with her concept. She thinks stories should come easily to her as she has seen a lot in life.
