Ramesh Sippy who was involved in a legal battle with his nephew Sascha Sippy over the 3D release of his film Sholay withdrew the case against him yesterday.

Earlier, the High Court had rejected the veteran filmmaker's plea of putting a stay on the release.

He had then chosen to go to the Supreme Court. Sacha, who claims that the rights of the film were transferred to Sholay Media and Entertainment by Sippy Films as a gift deed, says `We are happy that justice has been served. As we say in the film business the show must go on.

We still implore Mr Ramesh Sippy to please come and watch the film!`
