Huma Qureshi's family recently hosted a dinner for the cast and crew of the film

Actress Huma Qureshi's father Salim Qureshi is known to run a chain of restaurants in Delhi. So when the team of Dedh Ishqiya recently travelled to Delhi to promote the film, Huma's parents played the perfect hosts by organising an elaborate dinner for the entire team.

On the menu were mouthwatering delicacies such as chicken biryani, chicken achari, mutton nihari, tandoori chicken and seekh kebabs. While most items were prepared by the restaurant staff, the chicken biryani was cooked by Huma's mother, Amina.

Says a source, `Huma had promised the whole team of Dedh Ishqiya that she would treat them to scrumptious Mughlai fare from her father's restaurant during the Delhi leg of the film's promotions.

The team was particularly looking forward to her mother's home-cooked biryani and true to her word, Huma ensured that everyone had a great time.` The source adds that co-star Madhuri Dixit thoroughly enjoyed the meal and was bowled over by the culinary skills of Huma's mother.

Producer Mansi Maroo puts in a few words of appreciation as well. `Huma and her mother make for great hosts; they made sure that everyone's plate was full at all times,` she says.
