Actress Amy Adams says it was her idea to lock lips with co-star Jennifer Lawrence in their latest offering "The American Hustle".
"I thought she should kiss me. My character is really strong and her character is kind of crazy, and I was thinking, 'Why would I let her leave?' because I really want to tell her something. And I thought, 'What's the craziest thing she could have done to me?' And I thought she should kiss me," Adams said in a statement.
Adams plays a bold role of Sydney Prosser and Lawrence is seen as Irving Rosenfeld's unpredictable wife Rosalyn.
"America Hustle" releases in Indian theatres Jan 17.
