"We wish to clarify that T-series legitimately holds the rights to the music of 'One By Two' and producers are required to provide them the relevant link documents," a Viacom18 Motion Pictures spokesperson said in a statement.
"There was some misunderstanding regarding the factual positions and we are happy the same stands clarified and resolved between all parties," the spokesperson added.
Abhay Deol, who is making his debut as a producer with the film and also playing the male lead in it, earlier this week made a public outcry about the delay in the marketing and launch of "One By Two" music, blaming T-Series for it.
He said the music label was allegedly demanding composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy to sign a clause, which is illegal.
However, earlier Thursday T-Series denied the claim, saying these were "baseless allegations".
The Viacom18 Motion Pictures spokesperson has now said their banner and Abhay Deol's firm are now looking forward to the release of the film's music on all platforms.
"T-Series is happy to provide their support to ensure 'One By Two' gets the best release," said the spokesperson.
"One By Two", also starring Preeti Desai, is set to come out Jan 31.
