One such occasion came, when Salman hugged SRK at the iftar party of Mumbai MLA Baba Siddqui, but soon after that, all the apprehensions about Shahrukh and Salman's uniting died a slow death, when that gesture of both was tagged as a circumstantial gesture of courtesy.
But destiny once again brought the duo on a somewhat similar juncture at the recently held 9th Renault Star Guild Awards, when SRK received Entertainer of the Year award and soon after receiving the award hugged Sallu and even stated that, `It feels special to get the award in the company of Salman, who is one of the greatest entertainers the country has ever seen.`
And if an insider's account is to be believed, then there was not just this hug which astonished everyone. Even before that there was a warm exchange of cordial gestures between the two.
Reportedly, soon after SRK made himself comfortable in the sitting area, Salman could not resist greeting King Khan and said, "Shah Rukh kya ho raha hai?" and even congratulated him on the success of "Chennai Express".
But what followed next was even more delightful for everyone, when Shahrukh immediately reciprocated to Salman with a hearty wave.
Subsequently, Salman even asked Shahrukh to say "Jai Ho" to which latter responded within no time by raising his hand.
And at the last but not the least, arrived the moment for which every one present in the arena was desperately waiting, "a grand hug" of two biggest entertainers of the Indian cinema.
This time, unlike their last hug which took place at Baba Siddqui's iftar party, the embracing of the duo nowhere looked like a social obligation, which they were bound to pursue and it seemed to be a rather hearty one with an acknowledgement from the core of their hearts.
So, after seeing these two titans of Bollywood greeting each other in a very cordial manner, now millions of their fans have got ample reasons to be happy about. What say guys...
