Shlipa Shetty is getting married! After torrential rains the Mumbai film industry is flooded with this latest rumour about the leggy lass. What started as an innocuous hearsay turned so serious that people close to Shilpa had to intervene and clear the air herself.

Says Dale Bhagwagar, publicist to Shilpa Shetty "On behalf of my client Shilpa Shetty, I hereby clarify that reports of her "impending marriage" in the media, are unfounded and false; or as the line goes, 'a figment of someone's imagination'."

According to him, some of her recent interviews have been misconstrued, making it look like she was considering plunging into matrimony, which is not true.

Talking further about Shilpa's future plans he says, "Marriage is a very good thing. Shilpa as mature person knows and understands that. However, after 'Phir Milenge', 'Fareb' and 'Dus', her priority is to take her rising career further and garner more and more appreciation for her work.

"This is a whole new phase for her, and she, being a career-conscience person, doesn't believe in letting it pass by for marriage right now."

But is there any Mr Right in her life at present?

Dale tells, "Shilpa has promised that the day she finds her Mr Right, she'll happily announce it to the media from rooftops. But for that, there might be a little l-o-n-g wait!"
