Instead, he will spend the day shooting for his next film, 'Happy New Year'. "I like to shoot on my birthday; in fact, films that I have shot for on my birthday - including 'Dhoom 3' and 'Bol Bachchan' - have done very well.
So yes, working on my birthday has proved lucky for me," he says, adding that he is excited about sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan after a gap of eight years.
Apart from shooting for the film, the actor will also be rehearsing for an award function that he will host later this week.
That said, the 38-year-old admits that family is his top priority. Talking about his two-year-old daughter Aaradhya, he says, "She is too young to watch a whole film; but she loves watching cartoons. And yes, she recognises all of us, including her dada and daadi, when she sees our films on television."
