In a casting coup of sorts, the Deol brothers - Sunny and Bobby - will perform together on stage for the first time.

They will come together at Bollywood Dhoom 2005, a show of song and dance to be held in August and September.

The show is being organised by STS Entertainment and Funkbox, the company that is known to have done international shows with Snoop Doggy Dog and Christina Aguilera in the US.

Vishal Mehra, the man behind the show, promises it will be an exciting event with some never-before scintillating sequences with the Deols.

"Since Sunny was making a rare appearance on stage, the idea was to do more than just make him dance to some hit numbers. We wanted to make most of the fact that he had agreed to do a stage show after five years. The last time he went for a show was with Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan," says Mehra.

"When 'bade bhaiyya' (big brother) gave the go-ahead, the organisers didn't look far beyond Bobby to make the show a smashing hit. The brothers will be paying a tribute to their handsome father Dharmendra with a medley of the latter's songs in films like 'Sholay' and the popular 'Main Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana' number."

Choreographer Pappu-Mallu will make the Deols dance to their tunes.

The Deol brothers will be accompanied by their leading ladies - Urmila Matondkar, who has worked with them in their home production "Dillagi", Priyanka Chopra, who is paired opposite Bobby in their forthcoming film "Barsaat", and Shilpa Shetty, who will perform on her latest popular hot number "Baras Ja" from "Fareb."
