Deepika Padukone has had a busy weekend as she worked non-stop for 30 hours

Deepika Padukone has had a busy weekend indeed. Last Saturday, the actress shot for her film, 'Happy New Year', and then went on to attend and perform at an awards gala.

A source says, "Deepika was shooting for her film for more than 15 hours and instead of calling it a day, she headed straight from the set to the venue of the awards function. In fact, she had to reach early as she was also performing at the event.

Not only she did perform but she also made it a point to rehearse for it before the final performance was recorded."

The rigorous schedule notwithstanding, the actress apparently had no complaints as she came on stage to collect the two awards that she won. "Deepika did not say a word about her long day even though she looked a little tired and felt low. For her, completing her commitments assumes top priority," adds the source.

Deepika's spokesperson confirmed the news.
