Having completed shooting for Sanjay Gupta`s Kaante, Mahesh Manjrekar now hopes to begin the shooting for the English version of Astitva. The film stars Madhuri Dixit in the role that was played by Tabu in the Hindi version.

Manjrekar insists that Tabu will have no complaints against him for not casting her in the lead yet again. "She`ll understand," he said. The director was all praise for Tabu`s performance in Chandni Bar. "I want to begin a production company with her where she can do films that she believes in," he said.
