Salman Khan will be playing a double role in Sooraj Barjatya's film. The actor was last seen in a double role back in 1997 in Sajid Nadiadwala's production, 'Judwaa' that was directed by David Dhawan.
Says an industry source, `Salman is playing a double role in the film and he is quite excited about teaming up with Sooraj Barjatya after a gap of 15 years. The film's remaining cast is yet to be finalised.`
Though not much is known about the film, our source adds that this will be different from Sooraj Barjatya's trademark films. The source says, `Sooraj is still working on the script and it is a subject that is close to his father's heart. The film revolves around young royalty where the lead actress will play a princess.`
And while there is no confirmation yet on who will play the female lead in the film, it is being said that Sonam Kapoor is one of the contenders for the role. It may be recalled here that Deepika was earlier approached for the role but she couldn't commit to the project due to date issues.
The film goes on the floors in May and will be shot at ND Studios in Karjat. `A huge set is currently under construction at the studio and more than 70 per cent of the film will be shot on the set,'' says the source. The film is slated to release during Diwali next year.
Meanwhile, there are also reports about Salman playing a double role in Boney Kapoor's 'No Entry Mein Entry', which is a sequel to the hit film, 'No Entry'.
