The international recognition to Bollywood filmmakers' small yet significant steps to break free from box-office diktats should egg them on further. The latest feature in the
cap is the selection of the script of the Vidhu Vinod Chopra-produced film "Parineeta" for the Oscar library.
According to reports, the library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and
Sciences has decided to include the script as part of its collection.
Pradeep Sarkar's "Parineeta" is set in an unambiguous social milieu and is a classic storyline supported by believable characters.
