It was Pooja Batra birthday on 27th October. But instead of partying with friends and family, the birthday lass was busy shooting for action thriller Talash at R K Studios. The film has Suneel Darshan as the director and stars Akshay Kumar and Karriena Kapoor. Now, now don`t we all know about the time when Akshay and Pooja were going steady ! They had even plans to settle down for marital bliss.

Till the indecisive Akshay met Raveena Tandon and did a volteface, leaving the Batra babe in the lurch permanently! However Batra`s anger seems to have cooled down. When she cut the cake on the sets, Akshay was the first to be fed the delicious chocolate pastry.Guess the actress has realized that whatever happens, happens for the best. Were they to continue the relationship, she probably would not have pursued her career as an actress. And looking at the way things are today, she is more than happy with the way her career is moving.

She has six films on hand including Kashmakash with Sunil Shetty, Parwaane with Ajay Devgan and Jhamu Sughand`s System. She has also signed a film down South with the hot n happenin Balakrishna. And for all you know the one to sweep her off her feet maybe better than Akki, what say!
